About Me

When I came to Australia 10 years ago I was only 18 years old I didn’t know anyone and had never lived away from my family. It was scary and exciting at the same time. Over the years I have had some challenging times in my life. After 3 years alone my little sister joined me but all my other family members are overseas.

I came to do my university degree. Those university days had ups and downs, being homesick and away from the family, relationships breaking and starting. Lets just say I grew up pretty fast not all in the right direction:) I found solace in the inspirational and wise words of others and quotes became a passion of mine.

After my University days I started working. I had known for a number of years that I wanted to work for myself and run my own business. Wasn’t sure in what exactly. I was right, working in a job for someone else isn’t for me. I hate the lack of time freedom to do what I treasure most. Let’s just say in my haste to run away from working I made stupid mistakes which I kicked myself in the behind for, but more importantly which I learned from.

I tried many types of businesses and nothing ever worked until I came across Site Build It also known as SBI. I had already tried a lot of internet marketing products eBooks and software in order to make money and they had been a waste of time. SBI is an all inclusive system that literally takes you by the hand from what to do and how to do it.

I knew I wanted to build a website but wasn’t sure how to do it. I am no IT geek or anything like that. Site Build It allowed me a complete newbie, to create a website without knowing all about HTML. They helped me make sure I chose a profitable site concept that I was also passionate about. What came out of all that was this website, my baby, inspirational quotes change lives.

My journey is just beginning I am still building my website one step at a time, one quote and saying at a time I look forward to when I quit my day job which will be soon. I really want to impact people’s lives in some small way using my compilations. I hope one day I can say all this effort really meant something to someone else not just to me. I truly believe we are all here to be of service to others as well as ourselves, and I plan to be just that to others.

The past 10 years have been a huge challenge for me sometimes and inspirational quotes have helped me when I felt down and alone. I genuinely hope my website will do that for other people out there who need it.

I love people, traveling, reading, dancing my behind off, watching movies, watching TV, going out to eat, trying different foods from different places, spending time with my beautiful partner, spending time with family and friends, women empowerment especially black woman personal development, politics, reading and learning about inspirational people, reading inspirational and self improvement books and enjoying just being alive.

There is a whole lot to me but unfortunately that would take a whole year to write about lol so I will end here. I am sure as my website grows and my life changes I will update this page. Thanks for passing by ladies and gentlemen.
