The Motivated Mind Review

What I like About The Motivated Mind EBook

From the get go I felt that I was actually going to get my money’s worth with this book. Over the years I have become quite choosy and cynical about self help books. Most books out there are regurgitations of the same stuff you have read before, they are nothing new.

From the first chapter which defines motivation I had a huge AHA moment I realized the Motivated Mind was offering me something I hadn’t heard of before. The explanation of motivation in this book is the best I have ever heard or read about in all my years of reading self help books.

The first chapter of the book covers the “what” of motivation in terms of what it really is and trust me it won’t be what you have always thought. The second chapter of the book deals with the “why” of motivation as in why do you choose to do one thing instead of another? With the what and the why answered the remaining chapters in the book explain the “How” as in how to replace negative motivation or actions with positive motivation or actions which will allow you to achieve what you want the most.

Throughout the Motivated Mind I had amazing epiphanies in terms of how I understand the concept of motivation. For instance one paragraph that really made me say wow that’s so true is the following:

“If you’re not taking action toward the things you desire, you don’t want them enough. Instead of saying, "I want to do it,” you would more accurately describe the situation by saying,"I want it to a point, but not enough to take action." The moment you have a strong enough desire will be the moment you get up and do something about what you want.”

That’s very true, when you truly desire something it’s not hard to act toward that goal. When you struggle to act toward a goal you don’t want it badly enough it’s as simple as that.

The author uses real life examples; of how people dealt with the different issues they had with lack of positive motivation. As well as real life examples there are activities you have to complete in order to gain an understanding of how positive motivation works in a practical format. This really makes the whole process clear and easier to understand.

It’s in eBook format which means you get the book soon after you purchase it. Another great thing is there is a 8 week money back guarantee on the eBook. If within 8 weeks you do not believe the program delivers what it promises you, simply send an email with your order number asking for a refund.

What I don’t like about The Motivated Mind

It is an in-depth book with 342 pages. Whilst this is a good thing in that you get as much valuable information as possible. It can also be a bit much in terms of length. 342 pages can be intimidating for some people. That is one disadvantage of this book in my opinion.

Conclusion

In a nutshell I find this book an eye opener, it offers a very different and more common sense way of understanding and using motivation to achieve your goals and live your best life. I highly recommend it.
